national christmas tree

Am Freitag waren Sara und ich beim Nationalen Weihnachtsbaum in DC beim Weißen Haus.
Friday Sara and me went to DC to watch the National Christmas Tree next to the White House.



Am Baum selbst befanden sich 52 große Sterne, stehen für die Staaten der USA.
On the tree there were 52 big stars which represend the states of the USA.



Die Umgebung war wunderschön dekoriert: mit kleinen Eisenbahnen und lauter kleinen Weihnachtsbäumen.
The area itself was gorgeous: it was decorated with little trains and lots of smaller christmas trees.



War irgendwie richtig kalt... / somehow it was really cold ...



Danach sind wir nachts noch durch Bethesda gefahren und haben die Weihnachtsdeko in den amerikanischen Vorgärten bewundert.
Afterwards we drove through Bethesda and watched the decoration in the american frontyards.



Zu guter Letzt sind dann Freitag meine Ketten für die Mädels angekommen, sind sie nicht schön? Ich freu mich schon so sehr, sie zu verschenken!Was meint ihr? Muss noch das Geschenk für meine Gasteltern fertigmachen und dann bin ich soweit fertig. Vielleicht kauf ich Sara auch noch etwas, mal schauen was sich so finden lässt...
Last but not least I wanted to show you the necklaces that arrived on firday, aren't they cute? I'm really looking forward giving them to my girls, I really wanna know what they think about them. What do you think? Have to finish the present for my hostparents and them I'm all set - it's a really good feeling! Maybe I'm going to buy sth for Sara, too. Hopefully I find sth nice these days.
